Size<\/strong>: Containers come in these main sizes. 20ft , 20ft HC, 40ft, 40ft HC, 45ft, 45ft HC, 53ft, and 53ft HC. HC stands for high cube. HC containers are about 1 ft taller. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Dry containers 20′ and 40′ (general purpose) are manufactured from either aluminum or steel. They are suitable for most types of cargo. Aluminum dry containers have a slightly larger payload than steel, and steel dry containers have a slightly larger internal cube.<\/p>\n
